ThirdHalf Design was founded by Melbourne designer Chad Mann in 2005 after a series of small collaborative design projects.
THD has grown to encompase art direction, magazine production, print design, apparel design, brand identities & illustration. Since 2005 apparel graphics, fashion, music and youth based clientel have dominated the workload. This can be attributed to the experience and knowledge gained from the involvment THD had in co-creating the free-press magazine, Peak Street.
Peak Street Magazine now boasts editions of 10,000 nationwide, has supported international hip hop tours & will present our first exhibition 'Sleep is the Cousin of Death' on Halloween 2008 featuring 50 of Australia's best artists. THD manages the design side of all Peak Street opperations while sharing an artistic direction role with partnered designers.
Over the next year THD & Peak Street will both continue to grow. With some unique events, publications and other schemes planned for the new year it promises to be an exciting time for clients, readers and ourselves alike.
